What have cell-phones done to the kids of America? My coach said that we were more focused on our cell-phones then spending time getting to know everyone on the team. She said " you only get to talk to these people and get to really know them once in a lifetime." She told us we need to focus on getting ready for the game and interacting with each other. We have become so focused on our phones that we lose family time! Kids would rather talk to their friends on the phone then spend time with their families! I do text but when we go to a family reunion or we go on a day trip or vacation we have to turn our phones off and leave them at home! Do we really want to teach our kids to ignore everything and only communicate through texting? I love my cell-phone but I don't want to end up like some kids who would rather talk on the phone then spend time with their family!
